What if my gun does not have a serial number on it?

Prior to 1968’s passage of the Gun Control Act, serial numbers were not required on firearms. If your firearm(s) were manufactured prior to 1968, they are exempt from serial number requirements, and we can accept them. Firearms made after 1968 must contain a visible serial number. Any such firearms we receive that do not contain serial numbers will be destroyed and will lose their Buyback Value.

Is this legal where I live?

Yes. We operate in all 50 states and U.S. territories and follow federal regulations. However, some states or localities have their own reporting requirements for firearm sales. Contact your local clerk of court to check on your own local reporting requirements of your firearm sale.

Do I have to report my sale in my state?

Some states, including New York, California, and Washington, require reporting the sale of certain firearms to the city or state police. To check if your state has reporting requirements, contact your local clerk of court.

If your state requires documentation, we'll provide everything you need—including our FFL number if it's required. Just ask, and we'll make sure you have what’s necessary to stay compliant.

Do I need to wait for a public gun buyback event?

No. Unlike government-run buybacks that happen sporadically, we operate year-round, 24/7. Sell your firearm anytime, from anywhere in the United States.

Do you buy homemade guns, ghost guns, or 3D-printed guns?

No. We do not purchase homemade, ghost, or 3D-printed firearms. These types of guns have no serial numbers, no verifiable history, and no legitimate resale market.

This is exactly how government buybacks get scammed, and we’re not in the business of wasting time. We are serious firearms enthusiasts and licensed professionals—not clueless bureaucrats handing out gift cards.

We only buy legally owned, verifiable firearms that comply with federal regulations.

• Collectible and antique firearms.
• NFA items, including Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs) and Machine Guns, provided you legally own them and have the required tax stamp.

If you're unsure whether your firearm qualifies, submit a request, and we’ll review it.

In order to send your guns to us, you must either be the legal owner or have other legal authority to act on behalf of the actual owner (such as a power-of-attorney or conservatorship). You can also assist the legal owner in completing a Buyback, as long as the legal owner is the person who signs our Bill of Sale.

We offer two payment options:
