Stockton Police to Host Anonymous Gun Buyback

The Stockton Police Department is organizing an anonymous firearm buyback event on April 6, Saturday.

This initiative provides residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted firearms in exchange for cash gift cards while maintaining complete anonymity throughout the process.

• Date: Saturday, April 6, 2025
• Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Location: Harrison Street Parking Lot, 300 N. Harrison St., Stockton
  • Enter from Harrison Street south of Fremont Street
• Terms of Exchange:
  • $200-$400 cash gift cards depending on the type of firearm
  • Non-operable firearms will be accepted for destruction but are not eligible for gift cards
• Eligibility: Open to all community members
• Anonymity: No identification required

• Weapons must be transported in the trunk of your vehicle
