LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn and the Sheriff's Century Station are hosting a gun buyback to reduce the number of firearms in circulation. This anonymous program allows residents to surrender unwanted firearms in exchange for gift cards, with no questions asked.

  • Location: Lynwood Metro Station Park & Ride Lot
  • Exchange Values:
    • $50 for non-working firearms or parts
    • $100 for working pistols, rifles, and shotguns
    • $200 for ghost guns
    • $300 for assault rifles
    • 3D or homemade guns will be evaluated on site
  • Eligibility: Open to all residents
  • Terms of Exchange: Participants will receive gift cards of varying values based on the type of firearm surrendered

Safety Guidelines

  • Firearms must be unloaded
  • Weapons must be transported in the trunk of a vehicle
  • Pedestrian walk-ups will not be accepted
  • Firearms are not permitted on any public transit vehicle
